Shooting Every Day!

Been going out quite a couple of times in a week for Kaki Makan shoots. Definitely it's really fun going for shoot than sitting in the office.
It's going to end soon as it is my last week. My seniors are really nice as they let me to do the camera works for most of the shoots. So, that's pretty much about it.

Final month of Internship

This is my last month of intern, hopefully I get to learn a lot and experience but kinda sad though cause have been with all this wonderful people.
Back to my week - as usual stuff (I guess you can understand what I mean by as usual )

I helped with Girls Only pre-pro. Then KL TV shoot, I didn't do camera this week because gave chance to another intern to do, I assisted the intern.

Thinking back, I used to watch Jalan Jalan Cari Makan and wondering how it is done. And now I'm in the similar show! Looking at the shoots and they story line is kinda different with JJCM because this is very casual and free and we have different host for each segments. In one episode we have three segments, and in this three segment we have three different host.

This is week I went to The Sumbs Cafe at Shah Alam.

I also helped with Girls Only pre-production.
That's pretty much about the week.

My usual routine  find local entertainment news, if I have shooting I usually won't do it. Kinda get boring doing that actually. I can't imagine how the social media team keep up with this every day.

Anyway, I also been helping to do some pre-production stuff for Girls Only show - find some Bollywood boutique for their shoot.
Then, crew of Kaki Makan show - obviously find restaurants and go for the shoots. As for this week we went to House Of Real Briyani. They had some good naan   =)
Did the audio at first, then I got to do camera works - get some cutaway shoot. Check out the pictures below.. Btw, the host was JimmyJamz from Oh Chentaku band. Had fun shooting with him.

Move on to the next shoot, Jom Wayang. I handle the master camera.

Last one is KL TV, I did the Cam B as usual. Sorry no pics to share.

Other than going for the shoot, I have been working on with lots of pre-productions for Kaki Makan because the plan is to complete the whole one season before I leave hence I had to work with the schedule try to shoot as many restaurants as we can. So, hopefully can complete that. Finding restaurants is kinda hard because we are finding restaurants / cafe which serves good food with affordable prices, but so far I still can manage it cause the crew helps me. Probably have couple of shoots the following week. Oh ya, helped my producer to do short description about what is Kaki Makan show all about.

Starting to get lil Busy

For the week I have been busy doing pre-production stuff for the show Kaki Makan. I had to do research - find restaurants that has good food with affordable food. It is not easy because some of the places are quite far or expensive. The thing about going for Kaki Makan shoots is that is a outdoor shooting and I get to play around with the camera.

Then I were  helping with KL TV shoots - I was in-charge of the camera which focus on medium shoot

I help with Jom Wayang shoot, I did the audio.

Last but not least, gain some new experience as I  got to go for SCP (Single Camera Production). It was on Saturday night at Publika, Black Box. It was Hip Hop music  for a good cause to help a school in Pahang.
It's really good experience as I get to see how SCP works.

It's A Girls Only Week!

Okay, the reason of my title is because I have been working on with Girls Only Show for the week.
I had shooting in the studio and also outdoor shooting. If the shooting is in the studio, I usually do the set up with other colleague. So ya, here are some pictures..

Other than involve in shooting, I did some research for Kaki Makan show, finding restaurants and getting the schedule of the crew. Then I also had to find some blog shops (clothing stores) it is for another show. Pretty much that's all.

There are days when I am really free if they aren't any shoots that I'm involved with but if I have shoots then definitely be busy, sometimes had to miss lunch  and go home back late stuffs like this.Well it's production house and that's how it works. As for me I prefer to go out for shooting then staying in the office. Above all, it's really fun being in production house.

Strength and Weakness

So this week I was doing more on pre-production and I realized I'm good with planning things. Probably being prefect in high school built leadership qualities in me. :)

My job for the past week is as usual, finding the entertainment news. Other than that, I was involve with some shooting which is Girls Only. Below are some pics.

This was shoot in the studio with the host Ain Edruce, she is nice person and friendly.

Yeah! This was outdoor shooting at Skytrex Adventure Taman Botani Shah Alam. It took the whole day to do the shooting. Unfortunately, I could not really participate in the skytrex so just went for jungle trekking instead.

Next I went for Kaki Makan shoot, well this is where I did the all the  pre-production and I got this so called "Project Manager" post by the crew. .  hehehe

We went to Kari Guys at Bangsar, I would say its a hipster kind of Indian restaurant. Suggested to give a try peeps..
So, the best part is that I got the "play" with the dslr. I was using Canon Mark II with 70-200mm lens. Well it was heavy because of the lens, so there comes the help of mono-pod. Still not really good handling with dslr but with the help with the crew, I got to learn some stuff. I believe it all comes with experience, because this is not something that you could learn by reading but you have to do it in order to learn.

Then, I was looking for materials for Girls Only show. I have to look for hair and make up tutorial. And also I managed  get to shoot at Jovian Mandagie's Boutique for the show next week!!
